Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Were Just Caught Doing The SHADIEST Thing Without The Queen’s Approval
0Prince Harry and Meghan Markle registered internet domains in their daughter’s name, without getting the Queen’s approval first. People are surprised to see that the couple has done this before Queen Elizabeth approved of the baby’s name.
The domains registered include LilibetDiana.com and LiliDiana.com. There is currently no content on either URL. “As is often customary with public figures, a significant number of domains of any potential names that were considered were purchased by their team to protect exploitation of the name once it was later chosen and publicly shared,” a spokesperson for the couple confirmed to People.
Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on June 4. Sources report that the new domains in the baby’s name were purchased that same day, which is two days before the birth was announced.
Plus, the domains were even registered before the baby was even born, on May 31. Harry and Meghan named their daughter after both the Queen and Harry’s mother, Princess Diana. The name “Lilibet” is a family nickname the Queen is often called.
The couple call their daughter “Lili” for short.
The couple had reportedly told the Queen of their plans to name the baby after her beforehand, and were given her blessing.
The spokesperson reported, “The duke spoke with his family in advance of the announcement, in fact, his grandmother was the first family member he called. During that conversation, he shared their hope of naming their daughter Lilibet in her honor. Had she not been supportive, they would not have used the name.”
