Meghan Markle’s Bold Moves Prove She’s Better Off without the Royal Family
0Meghan Markle may no longer be a part of the royal family, but her actions and gestures indicate she’s thriving without them, subtly conveying a message to royal fans, via Yahoo.
Recently, Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, spent several days in Nigeria, immediately following Harry’s brief visit to the United Kingdom. This trip marked their first visit to Nigeria together and provided an opportunity for them to discuss mental health issues affecting both the military and younger generations.
Meghan, who did not attend Harry’s UK Invictus Games ceremony, joined him in Nigeria soon after. Her actions during this trip sent a clear message: she’s doing just fine. Although Harry and Meghan have not participated in royal tours since stepping down as working members of the royal family, this trip had all the elements of one. Over three days, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited various locations, including schools and a charity polo game. They also engaged in discussions about mental health with young Nigerians.
Body language expert Adrianne Carter analyzed the couple’s interactions throughout their trip to understand their current dynamics. “Harry looks like the more dominant figure out of the two of them… It looks like he’s taking the lead on this engagement,” Carter told OK! Magazine UK. “Meghan’s megawatt smile is in full action in these pictures. It is a genuine smile of enjoyment, but she is an actress, so she mostly ensures that she shows she’s enjoying being in the public eye.”
Meghan’s radiant smile demonstrates her genuine enjoyment of her work. Despite not maintaining a relationship with Harry’s family, she appears content with the life she has built alongside her husband, their two children, and her mother, Doria Ragland.
While nothing is ever set in stone, Meghan’s decision to travel to Africa instead of the UK suggests she deliberately chose to skip the latter. This indicates that Harry and Meghan might be further than ever from reconciling with the royal family. For Harry, maintaining some connection to his family could be beneficial, but both sides seem largely uninterested in changing the current state of affairs.
For now, Harry and Meghan continue their philanthropic efforts through Harry’s Invictus Games and their Archewell Foundation. Meghan’s body language and actions suggest she is perfectly content without holding a formal royal title.
