Takko Fashion Welcomes Martino Pessina as New CEO to Lead Quality Discount Expansion

Takko Fashion has announced the appointment of Martino Pessina as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Pessina officially joined the executive management board of the fashion company on January 16, 2023.

Dirk Van den Berghe, Chairman of the Takko Fashion advisory board, expressed confidence in Pessina’s abilities, stating, “Martino Pessina brings an excellent understanding of the fashion value retail segment in Europe. We are convinced that he will further develop Takko’s increasingly successful quality discount business model in its different markets.”

With over 20 years of experience in various management positions within the fashion and jewelry industry, Pessina most recently served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Pandora, leading the omnichannel retail business with sales exceeding three billion euros.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Pessina stated, “I am very excited to start my new journey with Takko Fashion. I look forward to working with my new colleagues and continuing to develop this successful brand.”

Before his role at Pandora, Pessina spent nearly two decades at H&M, culminating in his position as President of North America. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the global fashion brand’s largest region, with sales exceeding four billion US dollars and a workforce of 20,000 employees.

In addition to Martino Pessina as CEO, the executive management board of Takko Fashion includes Thomas Füllhaas, Chief Operations Officer (COO), and Sebastian Weber, Chief Product Officer (CPO).
